For many years small groups of brethren and sisters have lived in Bunbury, Busselton, Australind, and Dawesville, holding meetings in homes. In recent years a number of families have moved to Busselton and Bunbury resulting in regular meetings being held in these centres. Every second week a combined meeting is held in Bunbury and on the alternate week meetings are held in Bunbury, Busselton and Dawesville.
As there are now 24 brethren and sisters regularly attending these meetings, it was agreed to form a new ecclesia that will meet on the basis of the Birmingham Amended Statement of Faith with the Cooper-Carter Addendum, as set forth in the Australian Unity Book. We extend fellowship to all brethren and sisters, without reservation, who meet on that basis.
For the past two years Sunday School has been conducted and we now have about 20 children with the potential for more. Two interested friends are receiving instruction in the one true hope with a third keeping regular contact with a desire for her children to attend Sunday School.
